—How the ORIS system contributed the success of DG3 Asia's application—
Note: This is additional information on the DG3 Asia success story that was published in the Premier Partner News Flash 22nd.
As color was extremely critical to the success of the project, DG3 Asia chose to add ORIS Press Matcher Pro to the configuration in order to enhance the quality and consistency of the final result. The ease of use, the accuracy and repeatability of color - especially with jobs that may need to be reprinted at a later date, convinced DG3 Asia that this was a necessary tool. The reduction of total toner coverage within the Press Matcher software was key, as they were able to utilize more of the effect from the clear dry ink on the printouts. The ORIS "cross fleet color management solution" was also used on the already existing 700DCP, so results from press to press are now literally identical. Color accuracy, consistency and repeatability are no longer an issue for this winning team!…
